About Stage Center

Stage-Center was established in 2002 as a laboratory for artists of different professions, in order to provide a creative environment outside the mainstream institutions, with the freedom to investigate, experience, and new modes of artistic expression.

The center has so far held over 140 workshops by Israeli and world-renown international Masters, representing a variety of performing arts disciplines and backgrounds.

Hundreds of Israeli and internationally actors, dancers, directors, choreographers, designers, clowns, scriptwriters and musicians participated in these workshops and thousands of spectators attended the showcase performances and the master-classes as observers.

To this very day, the center is the soul institute in Israel, focusing on professional training for the performing arts community.

Stage-Center is operated by a non-profit organization HALAH &ndash The Center for the Advancement of the Stage Arts.

Stage-Center encourages collaboration and co-operation between individuals and institutions of the various art forms. The project promotes an Israeli-International network of artistic and cultural collaborations. By introducing these objectives using Performance Art as a method of communication &ndash i.e. lectures, discussions, professional dialogue, presentations, and performances
